The Beacon Awards 2025 - Nomination Form

The Beacon Awards are designed to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in nonprofit organizations across the Permian Basin. These awards aim to highlight exceptional contributions by nonprofit staff and volunteers while raising awareness of the vital work happening in our local nonprofit community.

Selection Criteria:
Nomination applications should clearly address the following:

Rationale for Selection:
Provide a concise statement explaining why this program, individual, or organization is being nominated.
Be sure to address:

How has this program, individual, or organization addressed a specific community need?

How does this program, individual, or organization align with the award category description?

What measurable results or outcomes has the program, individual, or organization achieved?

Nomination Type:
The nomination may be for either an individual or an organization. If nominating an individual, please ensure the application speaks directly to their personal contributions and impact.

Endorsements:
Please include any supporting materials such as, letters of support, photos, news articles, etc. to support the rationale of the nomination.

An independent awards committee will evaluate all nominations. Award recipients and all nominees will be recognized at the Beacon Awards Luncheon, hosted by the Nonprofit Management Center on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Each honoree will receive a commemorative award and a $1,000 grant awarded to the nominating organization.

Excellence in Organizational Leadership The Excellence in Organizational Leadership award recognizes and celebrates outstanding leadership within a nonprofit organization by acknowledging an individual who has demonstrated exceptional vision, strategic thinking and dedication to their organizations mission and impact.
Innovation in Nonprofit Work

Innovation in Nonprofit Work The Innovation in Nonprofit Work award recognizes and celebrates innovative projects within nonprofit organizations that demonstrate a new or improved approach to addressing a specific need or problem, leading to significant impact on the community or sector served.
